<<TokyoMex play: What are the pros/cons? What to be careful of?>>

TokyoMex and his group (probably hundreds or more) find stocks with good news or rumors that will therefore run and they all rush in at close to the same time. This drives the stock up very fast. But most of these people are very short term oriented and sell very fast. Thus the price can fall with lightning speed. Often the news that prompts a Tokyo Mex play is genuinely good and the stock will probably eventually go up, but first it has to recover from the sudden onslaught it's been subjected to. It may take several days to consolidate and recover before going back up and even then it has to work its way through the overhead of the sellers who had bought near the top and have been desperately waiting to dump.

These plays are great if you get in early enough, watch carefully, and sell at the right time. But if you get in too late and buy at the top, watch out!!
