ECD is a technically driven company. Was the CR article technically correct? The NiMH situation has changed. The NiMH batteries are now easy to buy. You can buy the NiMH batteries at Radio Shacks around the country. I hope that ECD gets a royalty from each battery that Radio Shack sells because this is the basis for ECD's corporate strategy for earnings. If ECD does not get a royalty from the sale of these batteries, it is not CR's fault. ECD must do a better job of getting its royalties.

The geometry of the NiMH battery should conform to standard battery sizes. High power drain may imply a battery using device's demand. The drain should not be greater that the battery using device's load, unless this is self drain.
