Tony, RE Rambus and Intel.

You're right. I should have known that the problem was the reference to backward compatibility. I am trying to understand if the minimum upgrade to convert pre-Rambus computers to Rambus DRDRAM will be a new motherboard, CPU or what? Will this lead to the conclusion "might as well do the whole thing" and just get the latest and greatest computer out there, courtesy of Intel of course?

Maybe you can word this so "someone closer to Intel" will respond? You've done well with my cryptic message!
