rudedog,

Thank you very much for that response. I must say I have found more pertinent information on this thread in the short time I have posted, than in the 2 weeks of searching in my city to numerous garages and the dealer.

You have all been very helpful and it is much appreciated. Thanks

And yes rudedog, that is exactly how it happened, I went from driving smoothly, no problems to all of a sudden I spouted a well and leaking everywhere.

I will definately look into your suggestions.

rudedog,

I neglected to mention that the blowoff usually occurs when travelling at a high rate of speed. I usually do not notice it with city driving. It is usually only with prolonged highway driving, say an hour or more at 100km hr plus.

Would all you mentioned still apply?

Thanks
