I never understood why Nike fit WEB's criteria, since the shoe business seems to me to be very fickle. What happens if the next big sports heroes sign endorsement contracts with a rival shoe maker and Nike loses its cache? What if Tiger Woods' career goes down the tube and people lose interest in Jordan? Can anyone say people will be wearing Nike shoes in 10 years with the same conviction that they can say people will be drinking a lot of Coke in 10 years? A bad CEO can't screw up Coke very much but a bad CEO can screw up Nike, I think.

Hi everybody,

What do you think about MAT after today's
drop? This is a company with strong franchise
and some similarities with DIS. TLC acquisition is
a wildcard, but if history continues MAT is
a good company to own. I am setting a mental stop
at $18 and trying to gather more data.

Good luck

Jurgis
