Well I was talking about trailing PE. Bloomberg shows over 37. Other sites show 38 and 39. You could argue both for and against taking out acquisition or any one time charges. I depends how you calculate it.

As far as a 13% growth rate, I used top-line for 1998 vs 1997:

(9790-8598)/8598=~13% This is a better indicator because it is not subject to one-time charges or acquisitions.

While a five year average is relevant it is not as relevant as the latest year IMO.
