I was out to dinner with my wife last week and the diners at the table next to ours were discussing handphones. One of them whipped out his 8810 and confidently declared that Nokia made the BEST handphones. His opinion was roundly supported by the others. <vbg>

Here in Malaysia, the 8810 sells for about RM3999, or slightly more than US$1000. How much does it retail for in Europe? I must say I felt a slight stir in my loins the other day when I passed by a shop window displaying the 8810. I paused for a while, staring at the thing. So silvery and slick. But then the price tag hit home, and with a heavy sigh, I moved on...
