Oracle, Sun Micro To Announce New Type Of Computer

Officials for Palo Alto-based Sun, the world's largest maker of computer workstations, and Oracle, the largest database software company, declined to comment. A telephone conference call is scheduled for 10 a.m. Pacific time Monday (1300 EST, 1800 GMT) with Oracle Chief Executive Larry Ellison and Sun Chief Executive Scott McNealy.

Kernels from operating systems software such as Linux, HP-UX, Solaris, System 10 from Apple Computer Inc., FreeBSD and NetBSD may be used.
I use a modified form of Linux myself, and this may be a real threat for msft.

I think you need to buy both of these and short msft Monday.
They have been breaking out of a base for some time now.

Rande,
When you started this thread I brought MUCP to your attention. At the time it was in the mid $.70. I said I like it because of the inside buying going on. Last Thursday there were 2 250K trades and 1 110K
trade. MUCP closed at .85. Friday it ran to $1.18 early in the morning and closed at .92. The insider page at Yahoo was also
updated showing more massive insider buying. Something good is about
to happen here!!! Check it out.
