Wow, where in the hell did you get that nonsense?

DOW down 1250 points?? Geesh!

Chicken Little syndrome here folks. Run, hide, the
sky is falling! The sky is falling. Let's spread
panic in the streets. It's going to be bloody on the
street very bloody. The DOW will drop 5 million points
and we will be lucky to sell Yahoo! for 25 cents a share!
The stock market is crashing, the Christmas season is shot to
hell. And on and on.

Enough of that silly garbage talk!

I am predicting a dip of 2-4% this week. Most of that dip
may not come until Thursday or Friday. Thursday is when the House votes. So far there are 206 yes and 22 undeceided votes.
House needs 218 votes to confirm impeachment.

Furthermore, there are things on the horizon yet to come. Namely, Greenspan on the 22nd may cut rates again. He will cut them if our market and other world markets are not fairing so well.
Most important though is the realization that even if Clinton
gets impeached (and I think he will), he will not be
forced from office. Why? Because there needs to be 2/3 of the
100 votes to throw him out. Voting across strict party
lines prevents a 2/3 voting majority - it will not happen.
Also, there are several big funds waiting to hop on many different
stocks this month for the annual window dressing contest.

By the way, the Nixon watergate problem didn't cause so much
panic as you are suggesting.

BTW/ most of your article talks about tech stocks. Then why
are you talking about the DOW. The NASDAQ would be more
appropriate. The NASDAQ low was set in the beginning
of October, not August 31.
