>>Appears that 'Mastering NT *Workstation* 4.0' has been written but

If we're talking about the Minsai "Mastering" from Sybex, I
saw the two for NT and WS packaged together in the Price Club
for 49.95. Couldn't thumb the WS separately because the
package was in shrink wrap. If I had, I could tell you more
about it. That was 6-9 months ago, at least.

There may be a revision in the works, but it's more likely a
5.0 version that's written but not published. The software/pub
cycles force most material in books like this to come from betas,
because if you're book isn't on the shelf when the OS
hits the street, somebody else's (which WAS done from the
betas) get's bought. Simple as that.

(Best Book Sites) FWIW, I tried this again, Clarence, and again found it unimpressive. The books I tried (especially the often obscure academic titles) are always much cheaper at booksamillion.com and shopping.com than at any of the sites it lists.

Thanks for the post. Very helpful to get news in this rapidly evolving area.

Best,

Dave
