Dipy, only a bitter partisan like yourself who spends hours upon hours defending the actions of this administration. Would believe that 900 FBI files stacked 18ft high were hauled to the white house (against the protest of senior FBI officials) because of some honest benign reason. Be careful buying land in Florida if you believe that one. :-) No Dipy, From taxes, to cattle futures, to whitewater, to filegate, to travelgate, to monicagate this administration has demonstrated a willingness and desire to go to any length in order to extend their power and influence. The pattern of behavior from Arkansas to the Capital is clear for anyone to see. You have elected a mafiaso like political machine to run the country. Is it any wonder we have to go through an impeachment proceeding? Blame the Republicans all you want Dipy. All Ken Starr did was document behavior. Sing praise to that behavior if you wish Dipy. I will continue to know in my conscience that it is wrong to cheat on your wife, wrong to have sexual relations with 21 year old interns, wrong to lie under oath, wrong to discredit those who would tell the truth, and especially wrong to abuse the power and respect we freely give to our Presidents. He and his band of mafiosa's are continuing their lying to this day, when anyone with half a brain knows he lied under oath. This President has lost the respect, trust, and belief of the American people. If he had the character, for the good of the country he would have resigned months ago. Instead he has elected to allow his documented behavior to remain in the public conscience for another 2 years. I will say it again. One person is not that important to a great country like ours. If the Democrats really cared about our country, they would be walking up to the oval office in lockstep to tell Mr. Clinton to resign. Al Gore will make a decent President. Why not get the country moving forward again and let the healing begin? I believe I said almost this very thing 7 months ago on SI. This will NOT end until President Clinton resigns is impeached or finishes his term. He is a lame duck moot President. It may make some Democrats happy to see the country transfixed over the sexual proclivities and purjuring character of our President. But it's not good for the country and especially our children. Michael
