Terri...I didn't say he was above the law. I said that this was orchestrated in order to get him to lie becuase they knew he would lie about a sexual affair (a civil matter not a felony) due to his position.

In other words, this was a conspiricy against Clinton which not only will hang Clinton out to dry but has degraded the Office of the President.

BTW, have you read the comments from many of the leaders around the world. They are laughing at the USA. One comment comes to mind from Emire Bandar Bin Saultan Al Saud, educated in England, when he said that this whole situation sounds like "The Pot Calling The Kettle Black". This comment was made on the steps of the United Nations this past October to a reporter from the New York Times.

terri, I agree with you, the Constitution of the United States must be protected, Clinton took an oath, if he would have just admitted earlier that he lied, etc., he would have proved to me that he is basically an honest man that got tied up in an extra-marital affair, and lied because he didn't want to harm his family or reputation, but look at him close, he does not believe he did anything wrong, and does not come to grips with reality until he is pushed into a corner, and then out of desperation, he speaks to the nation, without confessing the full truth. I wouldn't be surprised to see him speak publicly again on Wednesday or Thursday out of desperation, after he returns from Israel. This is not about sex, Monica, Paula, Hyde, or Bob Hope, this about the chief law officer of the United States being a chronic liar. I expect the full house to vote for impeachment hearings on Thursday. The Senate has 55-45, republicans-democrats, respectfully last time I checked, not enough for party line impeachment vote which has to be 2/3. However, if it goes to the Senate, the process starts all over again, all witnesses called back, and new information may be discovered. I don't believe Clinton wants this to happen. Resignation is not out of the question, he may do it. Last night on the evening news, they showed Bill and Hillary arriving in Israel, Bill tried to grab her hand to hold, she refused and pulled away, he is his own worst enemy, IMO, self destructing himself. This is not about money, and I would love to see the stock market stay strong, it's much easier to make money in a bull market, also the economy is still chugging along, this is why I believe polls show that Clinton should not be impeached, people know what it would do the the dollar and the stock market if he leaves office, because during this awesome bull-run, Clinton has been president. Putting everything else aside though, I have to go with what's right for protecting the Constitution of the United States and our country's future, all IMO.
