Greg I agree that the whole situation was orchestrated and for that I believe the republican party will suffer for many years to come. I also believe that Clinton intentionally lied under oath and knowingly tried to obstruct justice and this cannot be tolerated else the entire essence of our constitution is rendered void. Sure the republicans knew Clinton would lie , the majority of men in his shoes would ( I believe the majority of women would also). But to lie under oath is an unforgivable act regardless of circumstance. This whole issue is a farce to the rest of the world. But we are not the rest of the world, we choose to lead the rest of the world and that calls for setting the example. The sad part is that our entire judicial system has been made useless if entrapment can be tolerated. Since no man is perfect what is to stop those opposed to a reigning party from similar tactics. Were does it end? It is long past time that we as American citizens take our government back and make all who would choose to lead us accountable for their actions. To me this means voting the hypocritical sob's out of office republicans and democrats alike. To entrap a political official is as much an act of treason as selling state secrets to an enemy. It takes away from respect necessary to govern . I have never been more ashamed to be an American than I am at present. I am governed by people I would not even consider entertaining as friends.I have one weapon MY VOTE and I will use it to get these sorry excuses for leadership out of office.(The Clinton types and the hypocritical persecutors) JMHO.
