Claude

I have already stated that I miscalculated. Second 8.2 million ounces is double the amount they said the take-over represented for Arequipa at $30 per share. At the time the calculation was based on 4.1 million oz.

I never said their production costs were $15. The quote is from Barrick's website. It is not my statement. Third, their are not many projects in the world with a cash cost of $50 that are viable in todays market. The point I am making is that Barrick has a habit of understating the size of the deals they do and in short order they are expanded many times their original size.

I believe they know that Argentina's property could demonstrate a growing deposit with further drilling and that is why they want to lock this up as quickly as possible even in this moribund junior environment.
