TR - Gap definition -

I think I can actually answer that one. A gap occurs when the opening price is different than the previous days closing price (eg. stock ABC closes at 20 thursday and opens at 24 on friday). A gap up is a higher opening price than the previous close and a gap down is a lower opening price than the close.

llater,
Tony B

Trader$Rader CNKT
Sorry I don't follow CNKT enough to
play it. GAP, like gap in the morning,
When a stocks closes as CNKT did on Fri @
3 1/32 and it open say at 3 1/2 on Mon that is
a gap, Unless you can find the reason why there
was this run up from about 1.75 to almost 3.50,
I would stay a way from it or wait to the am
sell off.Vol was 6.3 mil up from 1.2 mil on Thur.
could have been some one or group recommending
to buy....be careful because it could deflate just
as fast. This stock was .56 cents on Nov 24 and
went to 15 dollars on Nov 30 with 22.7 mil
What the hell is that? then to 5.75 the next day..
on 6.2 mil. I would go back to around end of
Nov and look for news, check the thread if there
is one, to see why it ran like this.......
It doesn't look like it had a reverse split then.
Short squeez ??? If I was going to play I would dig
real deep on this one.
lots of luck
Anyone know anything more on this stock????
