OT--Agreed Fred. You know, I was a small child in the 1950s and missed the charade of the Army McCarthy hearings. Thanks to the Grand Inquisitor "Torquemada" Starr and the Hezbola wing of the Republican Party, we get a replay now , nearly 50 years later. At least McCarthy's gang had an allegedly admirable goal...to seek out every Commie in the government. Now we look back on those old film clips with disgust and shame. BTW, as a side note, McCarthy was ultimately censured by the Senate and died a booze hound. His two chief investigators were Roy Cohn, who died of AIDS, and Robert Kennedy, who was assasinated. TG
