CNN: "President Bill Clinton said Sunday he did not commit perjury in the Monica Lewinsky affair and will not step down."

"I did not inhale, dodge the draft, have sexual relations with that woman, or perjure myself, and I will not step down."

I bet he does.

Richard:

Why should the fact that Clinton admits what he has done (we all know anyway) result in no impeachment. Whether he is impeached should not turn on his admission. It should turn on the gravity of what he has done. If a murderer confesses, he doesn't get off. It may help him when he is sentenced, but it shouldn't result in an aquital.

Live long and prosper,
