I did notice the <G>, but for the benefit of others let me explain:
traders like to be certain about price direction. Once price has
exceeded the previous ST high of 47, strength has been demonstrated.
They might then buy and ride a portion of the upward move. They are
not obsessed with 300% gains, but are satisfied with 30% gains -
many times during a cycle. The reason they might have acted on the
sell signal is that they are uncertain how much lower the stock might go.

It's about risk containment.
But you know all that.<g>

that is known as ta. i'm not a subscriber to it. i place a value on a company and buy below it and sell above it. of course, i continually have to reevaluate the company's value which takes... work... ;-)
