I am a "newbie". I have been following the thread for a while. To give you some input about mbtrader-I have had an account with them for about 1 month. The minimum to open an account is $10,000-. The execution of orders and confirmation is usually within 30-60 seconds. It has a very straight forward program for buying and selling(especially for someone new like me). I hope the information helps.
