But the important thing about the "caddy" patent is that it does appear that there is at least a possibility that one will be able to take one's Clik! disk and read it, via the caddy, on one's Zip drive.

That would be a good thing, as a part of an overall picture. With USB, parallel and "caddy-to-Zip" interfaces, it would seem that most people would have no problem getting their data from their Clik! enabled devices into their computers.

So now the only question is, when is the product going to ship?!? It's really a shame that Iomega has basically missed another Christmas selling season for Clik!
