DADIS: The article was positive for MTC but the last half of the article was very positive for CEGE. The volume in CEGE had picked up very nicely in the last few weeks. It bottomed out and is now starting to increase on good volume.
The steady decline you cited is very misleading. It was 20 in 1993 but by the middle of 1994 it was in the 8's. Since then it has bounced between 3 and 12 a few times. Their technology takes time but they have a lot of backing and they are ready to cash in on it.
By the time you realized that they turned the corner this will be trading where Monsanto is. Biotechs that already turned the corner and have a ton of products making them money don't trade at 4 or 5. The speculatives ones trade in the single digits on the hopes of their products making it. I think CEGE is set up to take advantage nicely with all o their patents in Gene therapy. Are they a sure thing, definitely not, nothing in the market is. But i think they have a great chance of hitting it big in their field.
