DD I recall George Bush wagging his finger in my face and informing me that he was not aware of any arms for hostages deal. Immediately afterwards George Schultz (Reagan's former Secretary of State) and Caspar Weinberger (Reagan's former Secretary of Defense) said that was a lie. That Bush was in the room with them when it was discussed. Where is the indignation about that lie? Where is the holding of Bush to higher standard? Oh yeah and that was a REAL lie. You know about foreign policy and national security not getting a blow job. The democrats to their credit just let it go and got on with running the country. Not paralyzing us and turning us on one another. TW

DD, Its good to voice our opinions... I have listened to politicians lie for years.....about things that DO matter to us all, and there are probably many lies hidden still that we will find out about as times goes on. <<<<<<<<can I take this to mean you condone presidential perjury,manipulation and the abuse of power? >>>>> To me, it was a private affair, I dont care who he has slept with! I do see why he did what he did, he does have a daughter, and a wife to protect from the scrunity of the media and the right wing conspiricy that put him where he is today! I know that for my children, I would die.....It is not in our hands DD, it never was, even tho the public, wanted this to end "our government" has gone where they planned to go with this from the day it started, and have NOT listened to the people... If he had told the truth about his personal affair do you really think that things would be different? I doubt it....Justice? LOL, its a joke, and its on us!.... Sandra
