Are you using a different English dictionary perhaps?

I always thought a representative is suppose to
represent the opinions of the people they are
in office for. In other words, if 51% of his/her
people vote yes, then so should the representative.

UNFORTUNATELY, that gets thrown out the window
once they are in office.

In many cases even if his/her people vote 99%, that
voted in person may still say the opposite.

IMO, this is a flaw in OUR system: that the people
get disconnected from the US Government after the
polls close!

Excuse me, but you took the first stab at me
when you stated to me: "are you from another country?"

It's not that it reverts to name calling or a
spell checker. It's usually due to someone
being offensive. You were being offensive to me
and I was being defensive to you. Get it straight
please.

As far as the link you just included. I like most of them.
One of the ones I do not like is leaving
Microsoft and Intel alone.

Microsoft should be broken up and fined big time.
Intel should be fined big time.

Rules need to be made to create a competitive but fair
system. Unfortunately its neither with regards to
Intel and especially Microsoft.

But that is another subject and should not be discussed
in this BB.
