Well, I had a very reassuring discussion with one of the principles of MCDI.

Everything is still going very well, and all the equipment is installed. They had a bit of a problem with BC Hydro and the transformer they need. Apparently the wind storm from a couple weeks ago delayed Hydro from replacing the 50 KVA transformer with the 100 KVA they need for production. Despite that, they were able to get everything installed and tested. This week they are doing some of the final reliability testing before the installation crew goes home.

I also had a discussion about MKD's problems right now. He reassured me that the problems weren't serious as far as he could tell. It was just a matter of doing the right paperwork and getting it filed. He seemed to have a lot of confidence in the lawyer. If the worst came he said, the VSE would never punish the current shareholders when the business is legit. And it is. The worst they could do is punish the management that made the errors.

I don't know when the stock will reopen though. I think everyone is hoping for a good christmas present, but I can't tell if that is really a good date. I think we all have to be prepared for it not trading again until the new year, and then be very happy if it does.

If there is somebody out there in Vancouver, perhaps they could drop into the plant and give us a report. As the guy from MCDI said, "We're pregnant", and they are ready to pop. There is no going back now.
