AR, with a no-name box, you don't get a "help" line. This one company was pretty small, they were actually nice people, but there was a real communication problem due to speaking different languages.

I have also owned Gateway, Dell, and Compaq, all of which have web sites, fax help lines, on-line help lines, and phone help lines. I prefer to pay extra for the extra service, personally. Plus, if push comes to shove, I know where to have them served with process, and it doesn't require using the Hague Convention for Service of Process Abroad.<g> (Which requires having suit papers translated into the language of the defendant, did that once 15 years ago for a case against Honda, had to pay a Japanese lawyer, who hand-inked it. Very pretty. Expensive.)
