If you trace the packets to an IP address at an ISP, say they had 10,000 connections. I don't think you would have a hope in hell tracing the packets to the person.

Everytime you log on you have a new IP address, unless you use a dedicated Internet connection.

Correct, Kerry, I am not a techie by profession but I did know about electronic trails. Maybe SI does archive the trails of members and I sure hope they do of people accessing SI during the free, two week period.

Do you work in a tech field? I tried to look at your profile but got two messages I have _never_ received before:

Great. Not that this surprises me given I'm using a 486/50.
