Thanks for your posts lately. Looks like deal-mac.com is on the case of the limited G3s. Outpost.com has a bunch, MacConnection has all models but one. I'm sure this is a story to follow, but the fact that the channel still has plenty of product with only about fifteen days in the quarter is pretty good considering the transition to Yosemite that is going on.

Apparently the Apple Store still has the $1599 model, as well.

Gaming-wise, I'm very encouraged lately by the news on the 3D card front. Voodoo 2 cards are now only $199 with 12 mb, Voodoo 1 with 8 mb is only $99 and a company has figured out how to make a Voodoo 2 for the iMac! Not only that, but the word is that Voodoo 3 will arrive at the same time as the PC version.

Also, many software companies are reporting that Apple is very easy to work with now on game development. So we should see better and better offerings. And it looks like the 3D card and other peripherals (thanks to USB) front is shaping up nicely.

This quarter is in the bag. Yosemite and iMac refresh/price cut will make next quarter no problem either.
