Hi Mark, who can they be capturing the market from other than one another. On the low end they are losing market share, to CTX and others. Plenty of people now find they don't need even a $1000 box to net surf and do basic stuff, I also see sub $500 boxes, is that growth in numbers, or dollars..if he meant dollars I doubt that. How much can they mark up a sub $500 PC. Gate and them resorting to "leasing" is not what I call promising I did the same thing just before I stopped building boxes. And I was building them before there was a Gateway or Compaq. I just shut down my operation completely last year, there was no margin in it, but none of the big boys got my market share, it went to the local Taiwanese who moved to town and work their cousins for below min wage.
