are you sure a MM here in the state's cannot short a BB stock ??????

as far as I know a registered NASD MM can sell short against his book,
that is in theory, it would be a naked sale if the stock was not in his book.

also the new sec rule for naked short NASD, NASD BB requires a MM to cover [that is buy in his naked shorts in 15 business days, sometimes this can happen only with a cross trade. IE say from herzog to a similar MM that short's small cap.
