Politics now are ironically similar to time of Vietnam War

I know enough about our system to know that someone
is being railroaded. I also know that there must be
something wrong when the vote is so severely across
party lines. It would be much better if it wasn't
a Democrat vs Republican outcome.

Our country always fares better when choices are made
by most Americans across party lines. This is not the
case now and wasn't the case during the height of the
Vietnam War.

Some ironies :

%age of Americans voting against the Vietnam war (about)=
%age of Americans voting to keep Clinton

%age of politicians voting for the Vietnam war (about)=
%age of politicians voting for the removal of CLinton
