Read it -- good article.

couldn't post it as I don't have a scanner...but I have a feeling that Santa will be good to me this year- been a good boy!

There have been many interesting articles recently, especially with respect to Bell's announcements - have to read between the lines as how Mpact could benefit from Bells manouveurs.

I view Bell Mobility as another Utility needing e-bill facility just like Bell, Hydro etc., lots of bills to pay here. Can't see billers having seperate sites to pay bills. This means can be fulfilled by Transpoint/Mpact.

What I like about Transpoint is their system allows the web site to be anywhere. This is important when it comes to getting the banks business. I believe they will demand their own sites to ensure they maintain their customer base. Just like the consumers do it now --they pay all the bills at 'Their Bank', but now it will be by e-bill. Presently, I receive my bill by mail, pay at my banks site, down load to Quicken. One good thing in the future with bill presentment on the net -- no more junk mail with your bills.

In mid Jan99, the financial institutions (whoever they are) will selected to do the e-billing. 'Important date'. I think Mpact/Newstar with Transpoint will have a good chance. IMHO
