Annette, I agree about the need for a price cut soon, but they do seem to be moving well anyway. Apparently it's a superb Internet machine.

My wife tells me the simplicity thing plays extremely well to the computer-phobe who wants on the 'net without most of the fuss with the usual computer-based offerings. The stylish look might reinforce for this market segment, which ads for WebTV also seem to be going after. I suspect some solid consumer research here (remember the data Jobs released about who's buying iMacs?). IMHO, Apple is trading off their "easy, elegant, & fast to learn" heritage, hence getting back to one of their strongest roots. Now, they need to do something for their professional users that doesn't break their budgets.
