I had a 63 Fuelie, Sebring Silver black interior and a slide off hard top, 4 speed w/ 4.11 rear. What a fun car. Could not drive it in the winter, too cold out here and the fuel injection unit was mechanical and very sensitive to heat. Very squirely in wet weather. Ah, but when spring showed up, it was the best.

From what I have seen you want to buy '63 or later because the independent rear suspension is so much better to drive and is easier on your can. Car rattles less. If you look at Hemmings in the winter there are some pretty good deals, but you have to get on a plane. There are no low mileage ones left, so many have had the odometers turned back. So look for one that has suspension work. Pro-Team Corvettes in Ohio will pick you up at the airport and send you pictures ahead of time. Nice poeple.
