I was all for impeachment until I heard the quality of some of the evidence on the radio (NPR). The quality of the evidence is imo so poor that it would not lead to conviction by a jury of twelve. That would be the standard i'd choose.

There is no question that the Big Creep lied like a rug. But was it perjury and/or obstruction of justice? I'm not so sure. And we owe it to ourselves as a nation to apply a high standard, at least as high as that which is applied to criminal cases. Billy is no OJ, and he walked!!

I would support censure under one hard&fast condition. The act and acceptance of censure must not carry with it any form of amnesty or immunity. If the USA wishes to sue Wm. Clinton in civil court for being an all-around buttface - and take him for all sortsa damages - that would be delicious irony, and a punishment to fit the crime. Imho of course.
