Z-Man,

HEC is pretty close in miles (Colombia is not all that big and HEC is drilling in the Middle Magdalena Valley, which is in northeastern Colombia. Take a look at a small map at ecopetrol.com.co

But HEC is a lot closer to Bogota than other outlying areas such as where OIL's fields are. From what I hear this makes a world of difference. Witness the fact that HEC has never had any problems with the rebels whereas OIL has had many.

In any event, something tells me there is gonna be something other than rebel activity on the minds of most HEC shareholders over the next coupla weeks! And it ain't the floorless shit either!

Zeev, how close to "payzone" is HEC's drilling?

Is there a real chance there could be multiple payzones with several hundred feet of productive interval?

Rod
