Karin, may I confuse you a little more <g>. Forget Cut. Use Ctrl+C, hold down the Ctrl key and tap the C key. This places the document into computer memory. It will stay there until you go to your other document, now place the coursor exactly where you want to place the document and hold down the Ctrl key and tap the V key (Ctrl+V). This will paste it there.

Now you must have the document highlited for it to work. One way is to hold down left key on first word and drag down to bottom of text. But suppose your document is 2 or 3 or 4 pages long. When you get to bottom of screen you will have to use mouse to scroll down to next page. (PROBLEMS

SOLUTION

Highlite the first letter or the first word with the left mouse button, now hold down the SHIFT key. Go to last word/letter,(you do not have to drag the mouse down the page) or scroll to next page if text is that long and and click on last letter/word in text and BINGO all the text is highlited. Now Ctrl C, now go to where you want to paste and place the cursor at the exact spot you want the text to begin and do the Ctrl V thing.
Just be sure to hold down SHIFT key while moving from top to bottom of text.

Now I know you are confused, Sorry, /jw
