Eric,

The other way which might be easier for CCI to maintain monetary credit is to allow the purchase of the GiftMusicCard with a prepaid, as much as the giver wishes, credit toward future CD purchases. This allows the giver to transfer to the recipient as large a gift certificate as he wishes. Some may want to up front pay for their CD buff 50 or 100 dollars. It opens up choices.

Eric,

Great idea! I didn't buy anyone a musiccard for Christmas for the same reason...I felt a little cheap. However, with your idea, you are giving a gift certificate for one CD and lots of savings on the other 19 CDs for a total $20. If I go to a mall-store and buy a CD, it would cost me close to $20, with no chance of future savings. I would have personally bought 8 music-plus cards for Christmas if your idea would have been initiated by CCI for this Holiday season. I hope you e-mail or call the company with this idea as soon as possible.
