Hi Bill:
Happy Birthday
thanks for putting out your theory about regional tax structures. wonder if others could comment on that..
I guess we don't have a clue who is the powerful lobbies in each state..wonder if that is behind regional tax structures..
Read yesterday that Governor Wilson wants a no tax ban on internet because as article says California has a lot of companies in internet business..(also read about mess with EBAY..wonder if that will mark the top of this mania..(although long term and for four years I have been extremely bullish on internet)
again,I think gold is leading indicator to commodities return so for CBNC to cover gold for gold just seems selfserving for people who have gold stocks..(ps I have gold stocks)
I would rather them concentrating on the restructuring that appears to be happening in the global markets and how it is effecting so very many citizens of the world..maybe that way it will wake some people up who focus on their own self interest instead of expanding their horizon and seeing what is better for all might be better for them in long term..
ie a piece on the hog industry to explain how farmers can make so very little and the price isn't being passed on to most consumers..
I wish they had some investigative reporting instead of regurgitating mostly self servicing analysts..
I turned off the tv on Friday when I hear the woman who reports on bond market argue with Jimmy rodgers..although Jimmy is not a favorite of mine..at least he provides a non shortterm traders view..my parrot was more worth listening to than her words..(possibly I am the dumby)
The Argentina gold and the Gretchell Gold strongly suggest that the tide is turning..(although placer may not be popular, one has a strong sense it will be one of the survivors)
wonder if you read the most recent piece at armstrong site pei-intl.com
re international capital

borne fruit? I wonder what will become of the XAU in the next few days as everyone gets word of the premium paid for ggo?
I'm guessing up 3-7 as everyone "revalues" the rest of the smaller producers.

Bill,

Gas in Central Wisconsin is 89.9 a gallon. We have a 27 cent state tax on gas here which has to be one of the highest in the country. California at 1.15 must just be gouging.
