thanks for your reply, I agree that SOX and RUT look abit shakey. Another source of concern is the relatively low put/call ratios in both indices. MacMillan's Option Strategist says they are both quite close to sells, as is the S&P futures ratio.

I'm wondering next about the OSX and BKX -- can't help myself, I like to buy things cheap.

Looking at the Philadelphia Exchange site (www.phlx.com), they seem to have two different lists of SOX component stocks. It appears that ADI, LRCX and VLSI may have been replaced by ALTR, KLAC and RMBS.
Looking over the list of press releases quickly, there was no apparent indication of a change. Do you know when (and if) the change was officially made?
