>... internet shopping is not only a possibility it is the only one of the future way.

I do not dispute the future significance of internet shopping but in our lifetimes, it will not be the only option other than stores. Stores will not go because shopping in stores is an activity many people enjoy--it gets them out of the house and offers face to face interaction with other people besides the hands-on experience with products to be purchased.

Regarding mail order, the internet will not totally replace it for a number of reasons. To name just a few: 1.) Many people, even internet shoppers, like to sit down on a comfortable chair and page through catalogues or flip through catalogues when they go to bed. Seeing the same information on a PC is not the same kind of sensory experience. Also, its dangerous to browse web sits sitting in the bathtub [the favorite catalogue reading place of my next door neighbor]. 2.) Many low income people can not afford computers, even at give-away prices, and could not afford an IP even if they were given a PC. People on welfare are cut-out even if they would love to shop on the internet either because they do not have a credit card or access to a PC (or both).

Using the internet for many things is coming faster than we know...a tip off is the lowering of prices for PCs... pretty soon more and more people will have access to the internet.
The internet won't just be for the well-to-do anymore. More people are trusting using the internet for purchase...I'm sure there will be pitfalls...but no more than counterfit paper currency.
Just think of things of the past that are now part of the mass culture. I remember when microwave ovens were extremely expensive and only a few of my friends parents could afford one...now everyone has them.
With computers...remember how expensive scanners were? You can pick up a new one for $50!!!

Computer manufacturers are packaging their new systems with modems...don't think they don't know that the internet is the wave of the future(oh gads, I used a bad cliche!).
Navarre is in a good position...I hope they take advantage of what they have!!!

I love technology!!!!!

>When credit card introduced, nobody believe anybody will use it.
>Now, practically every good people is using credit cards.

You know, I belive your argument but I have got to tell you that credit card revolution has not reached texas yet. When I moved back here after 15 years in the north, I find that I still wait in line behind people writing checks for groceries. I don't think I have ever seen anyone write a check for food in massachusetts, but it happens all the time here.
