Oppenheimer downgraded Adobe Systems, on our LONG board. . . price fell to 39 then "magically" some big buyers moved in and scarfed it up at a bargain.

Looks like the 'pump and dump' in reverse.

I guess a strategy of buying stocks would be to follow the downgrades. . . wait 15 minutes and buy them for a quick buck.

I'd love to see statistics on the direction of stocks immediately and within several days of an upgrade or a downgrade by a major broker. Would probably shed some light on how things work. . . make a great story . . .any journalists out there?

Caution on FHT. Tho CEO on CNBC, this one is prime for being shorted early. . .in hopes of catching those thinking there is still life in the internets in 98.

Fundamentally nothing has changed...

Any upgrades or recommendations on internets should be a good sign to short [tho I don't]. Look for downgrades on the truly great plays like NSOL, INKT, ATHM, BDCM, CPQ, AMZN and other of our LONG picks...for opportunity.

I don't anticipate any of those stocks selling off as market slides...some will continue to gain despite the market. NSOL is a cash cow and fund managers realize this. I expect to see 200 soon.

Looks like small cap fever is over, too.

Time to look into profiting from fear and uncertainty.

Open to suggestions in this arena. . .
