I have no idea about the merits of deal as I don't know anything about either company. But as far as I can see, since PDG is paying with paper, they can afford to be "generous". Don't forget, they bought W.Areas very cheaply so they have assets to burn.

Your comment is ridiculous. Why on worth should they be desperate? They are one of the world's largest gold producers, as well as having one of the lowest production costs. To boot, their recent earnings came in well above expectations.
