Chickenman,

The problem for Clinton is that slowly, but surely, the Congress is beginning to focus on the real problem. He lied in front of a FEDERAL GRAND JURY!!!That is a felony.

Clinton does not have very many friends in the Senate. Think about it, have you seen or heard of one Senator say he would NOT vote to impeach even if the evidence is there.

The problem for the Senate is that they are going to have before them a President that has committed a felony. How do you square that with the oath of office. I by no means know what is going to happen but people that say the Senate will never remove him from office are in Egypt, where the de Nile is located.

My take would be if the House votes to impeach, then the Democratic leaders, Gephardt, Lieberman, Daschle etc. would go to Clinton and tell him he has to resign. If he refuses, they will have the trial and remove him very quickly. The leadership has already said that there will be no long trial. It's up or down and move on.

It may provide a great buying opportunity on the over reaction from Wall St.
