Steve,

Is the drill on their property or across the highway?

Haven't heard anything on the Wavex deal lately. I wander if they were planning to sell into the Asian market? Anyone hear anything lately? NFM has been under some pressure lately. Tax loss selling or just poor fundamentals?

Comments?

Cheers Winzer

Hi Steve,

Thanks for your response. The stock of Fort Knox Gold (FNX.t) has been moving upwards recently and wondered if it was related to their activities on Cheminus. As you know, they are bankrolling the j.v. drilling program of 25 - 30,000 feet which should be nearing completion according to their news release dated Oct. 7th. As NFM stock is not moving, I suspect reason for FNX action lies with their property in Nfld. Trying to get info by telephone from Fort Knox is difficult. So far all I've gotten is voice mail.

Their news release states 4 drills will be used in their program at cheminus with completion intended by end of 1998. Thanks to you we now know there is at least one drill on site.

Here's hoping they pull something worthwhile from the property. Their plans as outlined sounded like a pretty good bet. Wish we could find out more about their progress but your post really helps.
