As long as you're not under margin why shouldn't you be able to
buy more the same day or day after?

This is news to me. I was under the impression that if you sold a margined stock during the day you only get half the buying power back that day. EX: sell $10k stock means you can only buy back $5K that day without getting a margin call. That's assuming there is insufficient cash in your account to cover the additional purchase. As long as you have sufficient buying power in your account I wouldn't think there would be a problem. At least this is the way I understand it is with MB Trading. However I could be wrong.<G>
