<<Ctrl+C= cut>>??? ..

Shouldn't it be: <Ctrl+X = Cut> and <Ctrl+C = Copy>

JW,

I think the problem is you've been wanting to cut, but you instead have been trying to copy. A common mistake (C, after all, intuitively says Cut). Cut is Ctrl+X. Try that.

The recent discuss of Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, etc. warms my heart. Only in the last year have I come to realize how useful the Control key is, and I've been on computers for years. Using Control in various combinations can really speed up your work. If applicable, the functions below work in Word, WordPerfect and Navigator, at least:

Working with files:

Ctrl-Shift-N = New
Ctrl-O = Open
Ctrl-F4 = Close
Ctrl-P = Print

Editing text:

Ctrl-Z = Undo
Ctrl-Shift-R = Redo
Ctrl-X = Cut
Ctrl-C = Copy
Ctrl-V = Paste
Ctrl-A = Select All
Ctrl-F = Find and Replace
Ctrl-G = Go To

Formatting Text (remember to highlight the text first. For that I recommend holding the Shift key and using the arrows).

Ctrl-L = Justify Left
Ctrl-R = Justify Right
Ctrl-J = Justify Full
Ctrl-E = Center

Try 'em. You'll like 'em.
