Frank:

Good luck on your bean trade. I think that beans are approaching a bottom, but there's not a lot of bullish news in the market at this time. For the most part, the So-Amer wx is about all that seems to be driving trade there. More rain is forecasted for later this week in the bean growing areas so this could provide some pressure. However, in the short-term, grains may take a hint from the meats and rally a bit on short covering of its own.

Hogs just went into a "fast market" quickly going towards Limit Up for the day. This is a tough sign to read however, as much of this could be short covering and may (or may not) prevail into tomorrow's session. To me, this is now a volatile "stand aside" situation.

Regards,
Mike

I bought feb hogs at 2890... I'm not sure, bottom fishing is risky... we'll see. I also sold back one bean contract for two cent loss. later Frank
