Down $6; That was bad but I am not worried.
There are lot of people who are just traders out to make a profit and take their profits (the stock had a good run in the last little while).
Down days also puts some political pressure on the Republicans to not recommend impeachement. The middle to upper class Americans don't want to see the value of their investments shrink due to this nonsense. They won't be happy if after all the polls the Republicans are still wasting time on this issue. If there was no move downward in the markets, they would probably lean towards impeachment.
Hoping for a good day today but a down day Wednesday and Thursday. Let us hope MSFT does not drop as much as the indices.
Once we hit Monday (assuming the impeachment vote is behind us - good or bad), I expect to see sharp moves upward leading up to earning release of Intel and Microsoft. Hopefully Compaq won't disappoint, although I don't really like to invest in CPQ.

I am hoping that the Dow drops instead of the Nasdaq.
