Here is an intersting piece of statistics I've just noticed:

Yahoo profile for CPU, states that the company operated 162 stores as of 6/98. In today's PR the number is 209. That is 47 new stores for the 6 month. Pretty impressive. I understand that Computer City makes most of the new stores (37, according to the 10-Q). The question is: does any one know the statistics of the last year?

Using TA this stock is way over sold. The Stochastic's are very bullish on an end of the day chart.

If you look at the chart over the last 4 years, it sells down hard in Dec and then is up strongly the next several months. There are 5 strong buy recommendations on this stock. With all the other computer stocks up it is hard to believe that CPU will not have good performance.

We will see. I would have thought that most of the selling would have been completed on Friday unless there is a lot of call buying today which tends to push a stock down without other upside volume.
