This move down is a fake to attract more sellers. The traders are moving this well to the downside.See Ike's explanation on the Ideas Thread.

Brazil is down almost 9% and Venezuela is down 4.3%, The
military officer who became presidentof Ven. 2 weeks ago was threatening to nationalize industries and repudiate Govt' debt to other countries

I could easily see a currency devaluation showing up in Venezuela
even before one comes from Brazil, no wonder the financials are
weak.

Passing observations,

John

Ditchdigger: I think the Market as measured by the Dow Industrials is unlitmatley headed lower at least medium-term. However, it will not be straight down at least at this point. I believe we may well see a consolidating pattern in the IND/DJI and the NYA, while the NAZ and SPX play catch up.

I still believe the IND/DJI needs to work a bit lower first by challenging a major support area or two. Then a retrace back to....well where is that Donald Sew when you need him...<g>

Ok David Plonk/Carl Hittle/Arik...chip in if you will...DMA could use some of that EWave crystal ball stuff you guys are so good at...<g>
